Statistics definitions

  • HF (Hammer Factor): HE - SD. Top teams typically have low SD (under 20%) and high HE (over 45%). Hammer Factor accounts for differences in playing style that affect HE and SD. The higher a team’s HF, the better it typically performs.
  • HE % (Hammer Efficiency): Percentage of ends with hammer where the team scores at least two points. Blank ends are excluded from the percentage calculation.
  • SD % (Steal Defence): Percentage of ends with hammer where the opponent steals. Blank ends are included in the percentage calculation.
